Dr Shikha Gray is a Melbourne-based psychologist with online availability throughout Australia. She works with individuals (16+) and couples facing a variety of challenges including depression, generalised anxiety, social anxiety, OCD, trauma, grief and loss, relationship or family problems, parenting issues, and health setbacks (e.g. diabetes).
Shikha’s approach to therapy prioritises the therapeutic relationship. She is warm and compassionate and is committed to understanding how you see things like no one else.
Shikha is Indian-Australian. Growing up in two worlds has cultivated in her an interest in supporting those struggling with belonging, feeling out of place, or unsure of who they are.
Shikha’s therapeutic style is integrative. She tailors therapy according to your personal goals. She is mainly influenced by existential, experiential and psychodynamic frameworks. She uses therapies like CBT, ACT and mindfulness as needed.
Outside of therapy, Shikha is a university lecturer and teaches postgraduate counselling. She is also a mother and takes a keen interest in supporting families and parents.
